Is my dog too old for training?
Absolutely not! No dog is too old or too young for training, every pup is welcome at 360Pawsibilities
What methods do you use?
360 Pawsibilities is a Positive Reinforcement only company. We have the utmost respect for pets and would never harm them in any way. When first working as a Dog Walker and Trainer, 10 long years ago, I used to be what today is called a "Balanced Trainer", but in time I learned how wrong it was to use any kind of Negative reinforcement and tools such as prongs, choke collars etc.
How long will it take to train my dog?
There is no real answer, it depends on too many variables! I usually suggest doing at least 2/3 session with any trainer, to have time to apply the advice given, see the results and adjust/tailor the training journey on the guardian’s and pet’s lives and capability.
What are your rates?
You can find more info in our Price List Page!
What qualifications do you have?
I have a Diploma in Zoology, a BSc in Animal Welfare and Husbandry and a MSc in Animal Husbandry Sciences and Technologies [Level 6]. As of 2024 I’m also part of the IMDT [The Institute of Modern Dog Training]. I've also attended a bunch of workshops, conferences and other small courses about animal behaviour. You can find more on the "About Us" page!
What if I need to cancel a lesson?
To avoid a cancellation fee, please let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. The cancellation fee is equal to 50% of the final charge. Whenever possible, we'll happily reschedule your session for another date.
Refunds are generally only available in exceptional circumstances, such as the loss, death, or rehoming of your dog.
Can you train any Breed?
Yes, all breeds are welcomed!
What Behaviour can you help with?
I can help with Walking on lead, Recall, Jumping up, Leaving Items and Resource guarding, Puppy issues such as destructiveness, biting, toilet training, crate training.
We can also help with reactivity, impulse control and separation anxiety.
What's the difference between 1:1 Training and Behaviour Modification?
1:1 training is dedicated to simpler and more mundane issues such as recall, loose lead, barking, jumping up etc, or our fun training [scentwork and gundog].
The Behaviour Modification is dedicated to more complicated cases that require an in-depth analysis of the environment and your pet feelings, such as Separation Anxiety, Reactivity, Resource Guarding, Multi-pet cohabitation issues. The Behaviour Modification Plan is composed of 3 sessions, with a longer timing on the first appointment and 3 months of follow up after the last consultation.
Do you do any other kind of training?
Yes! We also train for scent work and pet gundog and can help introduce your dog to herding games.
How long is a training session?
Our sessions are 1 hour long.
Do you have classes?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer classes at this time.
Do you formulate full diets for pets?
Not yet! Although Pet nutrition was extensively covered during my uni studies I don't feel confident enough to advise on a full homemade diet for pets yet. But keep an eye on this page, we might be able to offer this service sooner than later!
